Here are a few pictures my Dad took today and sent to me. Since most my readership is experiencing this very same stuff, it's not such a thrill to see. But I may get that one person from New Zealand, Russia or Spain or say North Carolina, who hasn't seen snow like this before. And I'm sure happy, 'cause that's all the snow we're getting here on the coast. Is in pictures. Okay, to be fair today we had this weird snowy/rainy/slushy/sleety thing going on for most of the day. But we've got bare ground. Nothing white and beautiful. If it's going to be winter, I want WINTER. Like this.
I love this picture because it looks like the house is 1/2 buried in the snow...but it's not quite. See that tiny tiny little shovel sticking up at the end of the driveway?
Well, here is a view from below the bank.....
Believe it or not, my friends, there is a road out there....
Isn't that beautiful? What a great photographer my dad is, huh? Even though he won't read my blog I still think he's the greatest Dad ever. (Please send money.)
All kidding aside, isn't this last photo, below, so cool! I know that technically the screen wasn't supposed to be in the foreground like that, but I LOVE how it turned out. How come I can't get anything artistic on my blog, but my dad can accidentally get a really cool picture??
By the way, Mom, make sure Dad knows I was just kidding about that money part. Heh, Heh, Heh...hmmm. What I'd really like is some spring.
Thanks for the snow pictures...I am a New Englander living in Hawaii (husband is Military). I really miss the quiet and beauty of a new snow...those pictures really capture that feeling. I'm also a homeschooling mom with an eclectic curriculum...finding lots of inspiration on your blog. Thanks.

Jennifer, I'm so flattered. You noticed that validation is a thing with me and responded! Thanks!
Now let's get back to that "hawaii" part. Interested in a mid-winter house swap?? You get a does of New England, we get a dose of tropical paradise....
