On their blog recently someone mentioned (and I wish I could remember of the skiddy-eight blogs I read where this was mentioned. Probably yours.) that in order to have a cool and popular blog you really have to have lots of pictures. I think I'm doing pretty good in that area. They also should be somewhat artful, (need some work on that one) and feature your feet. I'd like to add that the interesting and well photographed blogs I've visited usually also have a photo of the blogger photographing themselves in a mirror. I'm not dissing this, oh no, on the contrary. I'm a wanna-be, we all know that. So with all that artsy photographing in mind I thought I'd take a few pictures the other day. I give you "Maria's Artful Blog Photos" (insert angelic voices here)
This is the ubiquitous foot photo. I love foot photos, frankly, and I see this as a start of something beautiful in my photographic future. I must title it. Let's see.... "Are You Going To Stand There Or Put Away This Laundry" sounds like it would work.
Next up: The blogger in the mirror photo. I LOVE this format even more so because I don't have to show my face! Would you believe I was wearing my glasses, had no make-up on, was still in semi PJ form, and yet look! Art!!
I discovered more art in the bathroom. I title this: :"Dirty Towel As Metaphor For My Life As Homeschooling Mother"
Oh, and my favorite, truly. I title it: "Note To Self: Buy New Towels After 15 Years" I swear to you I have had this towel since before I was married. I was living with my cousin Jenny and we bought these on sale at a local discount store (key words of our life then: Sale and Discount Store) Yet look how long these towels lasted....sort of....or not.
